Outstanding Young Alumni Award Recipients Lauren & Anne Murray
Lauren and Anne were one of the honorees during the ACES College Connection Alumni which was held on Friday, November 14, 2008.
The event was part of the salute to Agriculture week-end activities and was hosted by the College of ACES Alumni Association and the Illinois 4-H Foundation.
More than 150 alumni and friends attended the event to celebrate the past year's accomplishments and to recognize several alumni and friends with much deserved awards.

University of illinois aces alumni event
Lauren and Annie hosted the District 6 Alumni event with a wonderful cocktail hour and dinner at their family farm.
They were recognized as one of the two recipients of the 2008 ACES Young Alumni Award.

University of Illinois ACES 2007 Fall FACETS
Lauren and Annie Murray, also known as "The Murray Girls" have made their dreams come true. These two innovative women, born and raised in Central Illinois and alumna of the University of Illinois and College of ACES, opened L.A. Gourmet Catering in Champaign in 2006. L.A. Gourmet, a combination of their names, specializes in American gourmet food with menu items such as chocolate decadence, pesto pizzetta squares, and grilled chicken pietro.
Lauren the eldest, graduated from college with a Food Science and Human Nutrition degree and a minor in Business Administration in 2006. Annie earned her bachelor's degree in 2007 in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a concentration in hospitality management. Read full article...
